Ingredients:
2 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1⁄2 onion
2 large eggs
Seasoning sauce:
1⁄2 cup dash broth
1 1⁄2 Tbsp mirin
1 1⁄2 Tbsp sake
1 1⁄2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 1⁄2 tsp sugar
*mirin and sake can be omitted for the recipe to be halal
Serve your oyakodon with:
3 cups cooked Japanese short-grain rice
Small bunch of Mitsuba (Japanese parsley) or scallions
Shichimi Togarashi (Japanese seven spice) if you like spicy
