Lemon-Lime Ginger Herbal Iced Tea
Juice of one lemon (if you want a more acidic taste, you can add another half of a lemon). All that Vitamin C is worth it!
Thumb length slice of ginger root. This adds a spicy zing to the tea and aids digestion while reducing inflammation in the body.
Four tea bags of green tea. Green tea is a powerful antioxidant.
1 whole lime, sliced. This gives an extra kick and Vitamin C.
1 few sprigs of cilantro. This surprise ingredient has the ability to help transport toxins out of the body and adds an extra flavour to the herbal tea too.
You can leave your pitcher overnight for more flavour to steep into this tea. Take it out the next day and serve with ice cubes in a glass.
